Photochemical polymerisation of oxygen-inhibited unsatd. polyester resins, is carried out using a soln. or emulsion of stearyl cpds., which are added to the polyester resin soln. 0.5 to 2% of 1% benzoinethylether is added to avoid the need to conduct the polymerisation under oxygen-free atmosphere. Method is used to produce polymers for mfg. lacquers. |
