Applying glazing to porcelain rods. A roll of raw, moist paste passes vertically along a support which has an enlargement. In a recess in the upper surface of the support is a glazing suspension which is applied to the surface of the roll as it passes along the support. Immediately after being applied from all sides, the glazing is annealed, conventionally. Specifically, supports for carbon or metal layer resistances can be manufactured by this process. |
