摘要 PURPOSE:To enable improvement in lateral rigidity, weight reduction, toe and camber control and running stability by positioning one of three lateral links upper than other two links arranged in the longitudinal direction and placing the inner end of the one lateral link on the rear of a car. CONSTITUTION:The outer end 14a of a lateral link 14 is positioned higher than outer ends 13a, 15a of other lateral links 13, 15 to be an upper lateral link, and the inner end 14b thereof is positioned on the rear of a car by the distance lfrom the outer end 14a. In this constitution, the moving amount of the longest link 15 becomes minimum and that of the shortest link 13 becomes maximum in the circular movement of outer ends of lateral links 13-15 at the time of bumping and bounding, and a wheel 12 is moved to the toe side to control toe change. As the inner end 14b of the link 14 is on the rear of the car, the moving amount of the end 14a is increased and camber change can be optimized. Thus, running stability can be improved.
