PURPOSE:To decide easily the relative position between an erasion core and an R/W core by filling a nonmagnetic material into a depressed part formed on the adhesion surface one the R/W core part or the erasion core part. CONSTITUTION:A depressed part 12 is formed on an adhesion surface 13 of an erasion core part 10 against an R/W core part 11. Then a material having the comparatively similar physical characteristics with a drive guide material like inorganic glass, etc. is filled into the part 12. Thus the part 12 is turned into a nonmagnetic part 14. Then a finishing process is carried out through lapping or polishing so that a prescribed distance is between an erasion gap 8 and the surface 13. Thus the part 10 is formed. In such a way, the relative position is easily decided between the erasion core and the R/W core by setting a reference point at the part 12 after securing the position accuracy of the erasion core and the part 12.
