The multicompartment plastic packaging consists of the assembly of two polymeric sheets and comprises a sealed storage compartment (10) impervious to the active substance which it contains, and a mixing and/or distribution compartment (11). The storage compartment is bounded around its periphery by a seal (10) consisting of a sheet of polymeric material of foam type (1) which adheres, via its two outer faces, to impervious polymeric sheets (2, 2'). The seal breaks inside the sheet of polymeric material of foam type without the two polymeric sheets which adhere thereto being torn when an external pressure is applied to one of the compartments, so as to open the storage compartment (10) and allow the active substance to flow into the mixing and/or distribution compartment (11) without exposing the active substance to the surrounding atmosphere. <IMAGE>
