A floating body (1) is partly submerged in the water. It contains a centrifugal pump (2) in which the water is moved from its inner to its outer part, the water leaving the plant either under or above the water surface. On the body above the water surface are wind catchment fitments (3) which cause the body to rotate with the pump around its own vertical axis. The number, type and surface of the fitments is wholly dependent upon the size of the power plant. - The plant is fixed in an anchoring device (4) so that the floating body and pump may rotate at different water levels, and even during certain conditions of swell at sea. The anchoring device absorbs the lateral forces occurring on the plant, and is dimensioned according the plant position, size and wind conditions. Three electrical turbines are connected to the pump. |
