PIEZO-ELECTRIC TYPE PRESURE SENSOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate the fixing of a lead while preventing any short-circuiting with the other electrode, by pressing a lead on one electrode of a piezo-electric element while the other electrode is drawn through an electrode on the surface of a base joined thereon. CONSTITUTION:A piezo-electric element 11 is sealed on a ring-shaped base 15 using powdered glass 183. The element 11 is provided with upper and lower silver electrodes 181 and 182. An insulation glass layer 13 is formed on the surface of the upper electrode 181. Electrodes 185 are formed on the side and the undersurface of the base and hence, are grounded on a plug body 46 in contact with a diaphragm 28. The lower electrode 182 and the electrode 185 are connected together with an electrode 184 for connection. An electrode revet 25 soldered on an electrode spring 29 is brought into contact with the electrode 181. The core of a lead insulated by an insulator 24 is set in contact with the spring 29. This can facilitate the fixing of the lead while preventing any short- circuiting between the electrodes.
