PURPOSE:To form a small lightweight fatigue tester, by moving one of a swing lever rotatably pivoted on a substrate repeatedly at a fixed amplitude to apply a stress to an object to be tested fastened at the other end of the lever repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:A swing lever 3 is pivoted rotatably on a substrate 1 with a bearing 6. One end of a test piece 12 such as change lever for automobiles is put into a recess between two legs of a bearing plate 5 by tightening screws 7 and 8 and the other end thereof is held securely with a hold down member 14. On the other hand, an interlocking plate 23 having an interlocking slot is provided integral at the other end of the lever 3, a rotor 24a rotatably pivoted on a slide plate 24 is inserted into the slot and the plate 24 is moved with a motor connected thereto. The lever 3 is moved repeatedly with the pivot section as fulcrum to apply a stress to the test piece 12. This can achieve a smaller size and a lighter weight with a very handy construction. |
