PURPOSE:To penetrate piles with good efficiency by a method in which excavated soil to be produced in penetrating a pile into the ground is moved into a pit drilled along an existing pile by rotation of vanes without discharging it to the ground's surface, the soil is consolidated by a casing pipe, and the pile is penetrated by pressure. CONSTITUTION:When an excavating head 14 provided at the lowest end of a rotary shaft 10 is driven forward while crushing hard ground, vanes 13 are operated to diffuse crushed ground to sides, and thereby the penetrating resistance of a pile is reduced. When a pile-penetrating head 6 is raised and an auxiliary excavator 7 is pulled up, a pit B is formed near the pile P1. While the vanes 13 are turned, the head 6 goes down, sand and gravels are directed into the pit B, and the pit B is degradated and buried. The ground around the head of the pile to be penetrated is greatly loosened, the penetrating resistance of the pile is greatly reduced, and the pit near the adjacent existing piles is buried. The needs for operations to bury the pits can thus be eliminated and sufficient bearing capacity of the pile can be secured. |
