<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature drop in the web, and to manufacture a steel shape with very thin web free from any strain deformation, by reflecting and condensing the light emitted from the steel shape on the web, in the steel shape carrying ways installed before and behind the rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:In case of rolling the steel shape with very thin web, the light emitted from the steel material 8 is reflected by the upper and lower reflectors 7, 7' and is condensed on the web 81 over the whole length of the moving steel material 8. The curvature of upper and lower reflectors 7, 7' wherein the center of curved surface is fixed is adjusted so as to the most efficiently condense the light upon the web of the steel shape in various sizes by adjusting the stroke of the piston rods 191, 191' of hydraulic cylinders 19, 19' installed on both lateral side edges of the reflectors 7, 7'. In case of a steel shape wherein the temperature difference between the web and the flange is small, the outer frame 10 and the inner frame 11 are withdrawn to outside of the line by means of self-propelling or pulling from outside.</p> |
