PURPOSE:To decrease the erroneous registration of a displayed picture by measuring a required time from the end ridge of an effective visual field to a reflect- ed point set between the start point of a scanning mirror and the reflected point and using the time as an output reference so as to obtain a scanning signal for a return path. CONSTITUTION:An infrared ray (b) irradiated from an object 2 is acquired by the scanning mirror 11, converged by a lens 3 and inputted to an infrared ray detector 4. The output of the infrared ray detector 4 is converted into a digital signal via an amplifier 5 and an A/D converter 6 and outputted to a display section 7. On the other hand, a maximum amplitude point (reflected point) is detected by a plate fitted to a torsion bar 12 vibrated horizontally in interlocking with the scanning mirror 11, it is fed to a clock signal generating circuit 10 as a peak signal and the required time from the end ridge of the effective visual field to the reflected point is measured by a counter 21. As a result, the output of the counter 21 controls the start point at the return of the horizontal sweep of the display section 7 to display a picture without the erroneous registration. |
