<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the binary-coding of an undesired part by comparing and discriminating a threshold value level and a video signal so as to binary-code the video signal in converting the signal into a binary signal. CONSTITUTION:The video signal A changing continuously is inputted to a comparator 1 and after the signal is compared and discriminated with a set threshold value level B', a desired binary-coding signal C' is outputted. An optional function comprising horizontal and vertical components is generated in synchronizing with horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals X, Y and the threshold value level B' changing continuously in response to the video signal A is set by synthesizing the optical function comprising the horizontal and vertical components. Thus, the binary-coding of an undesired part due to an unnecessary picture and shading development of each video signal not to be binary-coded is prevented.</p> |
