PURPOSE:To reduce by half the number of feedback current transformers by connecting a snubber circuit of a pair of positive and negative arms via a diode circuit connected via feedback current transformers and flowing the charge of the snubber capacitor of the positive and negative arms to the diode circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a gate turn-OFF thyristor GU becomes an OFF state, a snubber capacitor CS is discharged, and the discharge current is flowed through a gate turn-OFF thyristor GU, a snubber diode DSX, a diode D and a current transformer CT1. A current induced at the secondary side of the transformer CT1 is flowed through a diode D1, a DC power source Ed, and a diode D4, and fed back to a power source side. When the thyristor GU becomes OFF state, the discharge current of the capacitor CSX flows through the diode D, the transformer CT, a snubber diode CSU, the thyristor GU and the diode DSX. |
