PURPOSE:To provide the titled treatment agent composition, by using a specific liquid polymer of a specific alpha-olefin having high retainability to the hair as an oily component to improve the hair-conditioning effect, and mixing the above oily component with a surface active agent and water at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair treatment composition contains (A) 10- 40wt% liquid polymer having an average carbon number of 24-60, preferably 26-45, especially 27-35 and a viscosity of 18-200cst at 37.8 deg.C(100 deg.F) and obtained by the polymerization of a 6-18C, preferably 6-14C alpha-olefin, (B) 0.5- 25wt% surface active agent and (C) 20-89.5wt% water, as essential components. Owing to the high retainability of the oily component A to the hair, the above composition has excellent conditioning effects for example to impart lustrous gloss to the hair, to protect the hair from mechanical rubbing such as brushing, and to impart the hair with moist feeling without giving stickiness to the hair. |
