PURPOSE:To provide a dentifrice resistant to the dissipation of moisture, free from the changes such as weight loss, surface roughening, etc., and giving excellent feeling to the palate, by filling a dentifrice composition compounded with a humectant containing a specific amount of glycerol in a container having a body made of a plastic having a specific moisture permeability. CONSTITUTION:The objective dentifrice is obtained by filling (A) a dentifrice composition produced by mixing a dentifrice with 30-70wt% (based on the composition) of a humectant containing 20-60wt%, especially 25-50wt% (based on the composition) of glycerol, in (B) a plastic container having the body part formed to have a moisture permeability of >=5g/m<2>-day-50mu [especially >=10g/ m<2>]. Preferably, the body part is formed to have an oxygen permeability of >=50cc/100inch<2>-mil-day-atm(25 deg.C), and preferably, the body part is made of a polyolefin and the head is made of polyester or polyamide.
