PURPOSE:To eliminate a color level difference at a boundary part by setting two sets of 3-tube type projectors adjacent to each other so that the projection tubes of same color are put linarly symmetrical to each other on the basis of boundary lines of both projectors. CONSTITUTION:A multi-projector 11 consists of nine sets of in-line type 3-tube projectors 1 containing a lateral row of projection tubes 1a of red, green and blue respectively. These sets of projectors 1 are arrayed in a matrix form with three sets distributed on the upper, medium and lower stages respectively. For these projectors 1 which are adjacent vertically and horizontally to each other, the tubes 1a of same color are set linearly symmetrical to each other in terms of the boundary line of each set. Therefore nine tubes 1a are arrayed in order of blue, green, red, red, green, blue, blue, green and red from the left side by changing the direction of the middle projector 1 for three stages, upper, medium and lower ones respectively. As a result, the video boundaries of sets of tubes 1a which are horizontally adjacent to each other of the projector 11 are projected by the equidistant tubes 1a of same color in the same way as the video boundaries of projectors 1 of sets adjacent vertically to each other. |
