PURPOSE:To attain a channel ON screen display even in an automatic sweep channel selection mode by discontinuing the working of a means which stops an ON screen action for a fixed period of time in a channel switching mode. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 21 is changed to the side where terminals 22 and 23 are connected to each other, a channel selection preset state is possible. Then the automatic searching for channel selection starts with push of an automatic search switch. An ON screen display is given on a CRT screen in a state where a channel display blinks to show a preset mode. An ON screen channel display signal is delivered through an ON screen display circuit 7 during an automatic research mode. In this case, terminals 25 and 26 of the switch 21 are connected to each other and the base of a transistor TR9 is set at a low level. Thus the TR9 is turned off and the circuit 7 receives no ranking any more. Therefore a channel number is shown on the screen for each channel selection. |
