Device for successively driving parallel shafts 10a, 10b whose ends can be moved in guiding means perpendicular to the said shafts, in which a driving wheel 13a, 13b is wedged on each of the shafts. According to the invention one of the shafts 10a is driven by a motor and the rotational movement is transmitted by degrees, from one driving wheel 13a to a neighbouring wheel 13b, by an intermediate wheel 15 in engagement with the said driving wheels and mounted so as to freely rotate about a pivot 16 constituting the articulation of two arms 17, 18 which oscillate about axes 10a, 10b of the two relevant driving wheels. <IMAGE>
