The invention relates to sanitary equipment of the "toilet-paper holder" type. It makes it possible to have toilet paper available rapidly, at will, and for a relatively long time. It comprises: 1. A part 1 similar to a conventional toilet-paper holder, which may be called the "dispensing chamber". It is there that the rolls of paper are dispensed; 2. A reservoir 2 in which several rolls of toilet paper 6 are stored. A component 3, which may be called the "elevator", slides in the reservoir over its entire length and over its entire cross-section, thus permitting reloading of the dispensing chamber 1. It is manoeuvred manually from the outside by virtue of a component 6 (which may be called the "wrist-catch") movable in rotation about a spindle fixed on the component 3. The component 3 and component 6 assembly may be immobilised at precise points in its path by virtue of several notches A-B-C-D-E-F on which the component 6 is locked or unlocked at will. The reservoir is loaded via an opening obtained by raising the cover 8 fixed on the part 1. The invention may be used more particularly in WC cubicles. <IMAGE>
