PURPOSE:To provide the index signal for color separation independently of the image signal, by disposing on a photoconductive layer stripe electrodes for taking out an index signal and other stripe electrodes independently therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A target for a photoelectric converter is formed such that linear filters 2 allowing only red, green, and blue colors, respectively, to transmit therethrough are arranged on a transparent substrate 1 and a photoconductive layer 5 is disposed thereover through an insulating layer 3 and a transparent electrode 4 interposed therebetween, and further thereover are disposed stripe electrodes 62 and stripe electrodes 61 for providing an index signal independently from each other. The image signal is taken out from the side of the transparent electrode 4 through a resistor 11 and the same is separated into respective colors in a circuit 21 by means of a signal taken from the stripe electrodes 61 through a resistor 12, whereby a color television signal is provided. Thus, re-distribution of the secondary electrons are suppressed and signals for respective colors are separated without producing cross talk. |
