PURPOSE:To contrive smooth flow of cooling medium by making a gap between the end of the width direction of a spacer between turns and a spacer between layers making the width of the spacer between turns inserted between superconductors shorter than the width of the superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A unit coil is made by winding a belt superconductor 2 concentrically a required number of times. Between the superconductors 2, a spacer 31 between turns is inserted in a specific interval, the width W1 of the spacer 31 is made shorter than the width W2 of the superconductor 2 and a gap g is made at both the ends of the spacer 31. Plural number of the unit coils are laminated to the direction of the axis and a spacer 5 is inserted between the layers. If part of the spacer 5 is overlapped with the spacer 31, there is the gap g at both the ends of the spacer 31 between turns. For this reason, the gap is not closed by the spacer 5 between layers. |
