This lock comprises a cylinder 1 engaged in a detachable manner and in such a way that it can rotate in a fixed body 2. This cylinder has a groove forming a slide 3 in which a latch (bolt) 4 can freely slide. This latch (bolt) carries on one face pins 16a, 16c. Spindles 18 are mounted in rotation in the cylinder 1. They can be displaced by means of buttons 13. These spindles are provided at their ends facing the latch (bolt) with a portion forming a housing 20 and forming a stop-piece for the pins in order to maintain the latch (bolt) 4 in a locked position. Profiles 22, or similar means 21, conjugate with these housings, allow the passage or engagement of the pins and thus the displacement of the latch (bolt) by gravity into an open position. The latch (bolt) may return to its closed position, also by gravity, when the cylinder is taken into an appropriate angular position. <IMAGE>
