PURPOSE:To mold precisely and easily the configuration of reinforced part of a synthetic resin molded item, by applying a glass fiber reinforcing material on part of the molding surface of a mold that corresponds to the part of the intended synthetic resin molded item where reinforcing is desired so that a reinforcing coat to be integrally molded may be formed. CONSTITUTION:A mold 4 of reaction injection molding type comprises a core mold 5 and a cavity mold 6 and has a core mold surface 7 and a cavity mold surface 8. Raw material pipes 11, 12 are connected with a mixing head 9. With the mold 4 opened that is previously heated and kept to 60-70 deg.C, all the core mold surface 7 and the cavity mold surface 8 are coated with a wax type releasing agent 13 using a spraying coater 14. A glass fiber reinforcing material 15 of the urethane type paint or the like is applied to part of the core mold surface 7 that corresponds to the part of the intended resin molded item where rigidity is required, and is dried for 20-60sec to form a reinforcing coat 17. The reinforcing can be performed efficiently in simple manner, the operation efficiency is remarkably improved and a reinforcing coat can be easily formed at the required part. |
