This invention permits industrial prefabrication and reduction in the erection time. It therefore leads to cost reduction. The solid timber framework forms a rigid and indivisible unit, the bolting eliminating weak points. This construction is therefore strong and undeformable. It permits very high degrees of thermal and acoustic insulation and can accommodate all dimensions; it may therefore meet all requirements and be suitable for all styles. It involves solid timber vertical posts 1 assembled by bolting to horizontal beams also made from solid timber, forming surrounds at the levels of the ground 2, the joists 3 and the roof purlin 4. The set of posts and beams forming each side is rendered undeformable by virtue of bracing 5 which is also made from solid timber. <IMAGE>
