PURPOSE:To convert automatically a data set under the control of an optional OS into a data set under another OS by providing a data set converter which performs the conversion of data sets among plural OSs and a mass-storage memory device. CONSTITUTION:The data set converter 13 converts a data set under an optional OS among OSs I -III requested to operate under one specified standard OS (OSX) and perform conversion processing into the data set format of the OSX, and the converted data set is stored in the mass-storage memory device. Then, the data set converter 13 fetches a target data set from the mass-storage device 14 and converts it into the data set format of a new specified OS to output the resulted data. |
