<p>Brush carrier terminal for rotary AC or DC electric machines with commutators or slip-rings, comprises a tube and base, pref. of glass-loaded polyamide, which carry the brush, spring and brush lead. A terminal engaged in the hollow of the tube has its head resting on the tube bottom to crush the end of the brush lead when the terminal is pressed onto the machine frame. Pref. the tube and base is of thermosetting plastics, esp. glass-filled polyamide, or of mouldable metal.</p> |
