In a relay, especially a miniature relay, having switching and contact springs which are fixed in slots in the spring block or the housing wall over a part of the length, are supported by means of a narrow side on the base surface of the slots, and are aligned and fixed by means of an insulating material clamping pin which is firmly arranged in recesses in the housing wall or the spring block and engages in a recess which is constructed in the region of the other narrow side of the switching and/or contact springs, the clamping pin (15) has formed attachments (16), which are plane-parallel, at a distance from one another side-by-side in pairs, and extend close to the one or other side surface of the switching (10, 11) and/or contact springs (9), in order to maintain predetermined tracking paths and air gaps. <IMAGE>
