<p>A bill discriminating apparatus for use in a machine, such as an automatic vending machine or an automatic money changer, is capable of receiving and storing bills deposited by a user as well as returning to the user any desired number of bills. A reversing roller (10) is provided which rotates opposite to the bill conveying direction when a bill is paid back, whereby it is possible to pay back only one of a plurality of bills (3) which have been accumulated in a bill receiving device (2).</p> |
