In order to prevent the precipitation of part of the additional quantity of fuel fed in when starting on the cold walls of the intake pipe, solenoid valves (16, 17, 18, 19) fed by the engine fuel pump (12) are arranged in the individual intake pipes (3, 4, 5, 6), which valves are triggered by the ignition switch (28) and contain an element (25) made of expanding material which limits the valve lift and hence the additional quantity of fuel delivered. <IMAGE>
