A display stand is described which is made of folding material and consists of a tubular base of polygonal cross-section, provided with longitudinal folding lines, and of a container which is mounted at the upper end of the base and rests on the base, an adhesive tab (12) which is bonded to the edge region of the bottom of the container being linked to the upper edge (11) of a tubular wall (4) of the base. To improve the stability of this display stand by enhancing the dimensional stability of its base, provision is made for a central support wall (14) and, at its end, a lower support wall (16) with a lower adhesive fold (17) to be linked to the free end at the side of the adhesive tab (12) opposite the tubular wall (4) of the base, for the adhesive fold (17) to be bonded to the inside of the tubular wall (4) of the base, and for a second upper support wall (19) with an upper adhesive fold (20) to be linked to the opposite tubular wall (7), said adhesive fold being bonded to the central support wall (14) at the top. <IMAGE>
