PURPOSE:To utilize remaining heat effectively and contrive the shortening of defrosting time by delaying the stop of operation of an indoor fan for a given period of time after starting defrosting. CONSTITUTION:When defrosting signal C of a level ''H'' is outputted from a defrosting signal generating circuit 5 due to the frosting of an outdoor heat exchanger, a second timer circuit 6 starts timer operation, the output D thereof becomes ''L'' after a predetermined time T2 and the output of an AND circuit 7 becomes ''L'', therefore, a flip flop 3 is reset and an indoor fan first driving signal E, which is the output of the flip flop 3, becomes ''L''. The first timer circuit 8 is also being reset, therefore, the indoor fan second driving signal F, which is the output of the first timer circuit 8, becomes also ''L'', as a result, the indoor fan is not stopped immediately when the defrosting operation is initiated and the operation thereof is stopped after a predetermined time has elapsed. When the defrosting is finished, the defrosting signal C becomes ''L'', the output D of the second timer circuit 6 becomes ''H'' and the output of the AND circuit 7 becomes also ''H'', therefore, the first timer circuit 8 starts the timer operation and the indoor fan is operated in the same manner as the starting time of room heating operation. |
