<p>PURPOSE:To minimize the space where a line in a transmission path is deflected at right angles by forming angular faces on the plane where an optical fiber setting part and the optical axis of an optical fiber connector are orthogonal to each other and connecting their optical paths with an optical path deflecting means. CONSTITUTION:In the part where through holes 2 and 3 provided in a device body 1 intersect at right angles, angular faces 28 and 29 orthogonal to the optical axis are formed. The optical signal transmitted by an optical fiber cord 15 is transmitted in a core 16 and is emitted from the end part and becomes a parallel luminous flux by a lens 36 and is deflected at 90 deg. by a reflection mirror 37 and is converged again by a lens 35 and is made incident to the end face of a center optical fiber 41 of an optical fiber connector 40 inserted and fixed to the hole 2 and is transmitted. Consequently, the space required for deflecting the line of the optical fiber transmission path at right angles is minimized.</p> |
