PURPOSE:To inspect whether a four-way valve operates securely or not easily and accurately after the valve is manufactured by inspecting the flow rate at a bleed hole is within specific ranges to the water leakage and flow rate of a pilot valve. CONSTITUTION:A curve (a) shows the bleed hole flow rate of an X side, and a curve (b) shows the bleed hole minimum value of a pilot valve leakage MAXY side. When the bleed hole flow rate becomes about one-third as large as the pilot valve flow rate, i.e. when an X-side bleed hole flow ratio becomes 0.35, operating pressure rises almost to a standard (1.5kg/cm<2>g). The four-way valve operates securely under the 1st and the 2nd horizontal lines A and D (hatched area) in a figure, and operates insufficiently over the horizontal lines. For the purpose, the propriety of the four-way valve is discriminated by inspecting whether the X-side bleed flow rate is <=1/3 as large the pilot valve flow rate and the Y-side bleed hole flow rate is >=20 times the pilot valve leakage. |
