摘要 The invention relates to a physiological invasive measurement probe which is designed in particular as a bipolar vaginal electrode. Such measurement probes are made with contact tips which penetrate the fetal scalp by closing of a clamp or a spring and permit electrocardiographic recording throughout the delivery process. Since the clamp or spring has to be closed by manual forces, the approach of the contact tips towards one another depends on the force applied and is therefore often irregular. The invention overcomes this by the fact that the contact tips are directly obliquely forwards starting from the longitudinal axis of the probe, while a spring tensioning them is kept under tension. Releasing the spring causes the contact tips to assume a less inclined position relative to the longitudinal axis of the probe while they penetrate the scalp. Their position is thus accurately defined. The spring can be provided with a plastic covering which can not only carry an electrode for the mother to record the reference potential but can also bring further measurement elements into contact with the scalp.
