The model railway structure is composed of a multiplicity of cuboid structure parts. Their upper surfaces form a landscape with a railway route of at least one railway track, said route being to-scale at least in terms of cross-section. In order to achieve a special variety of design with a large number of combination possibilities, the outline lengths of the edges of the structure parts are about twice the spacing of the centres of a double track or an integral multiple of the triple value thereof which forms a grid length.
