Apparatus for examining fluids

An apparatus for examining fluids has a wedge-type flow channel in which the fluid moves at least relative to one channel wall and a pressure measuring device with which the variation in the pressure of the liquid in the wedge can be determined. Known apparatuses of this type do not permit a satisfactory and meaningful examination of fluids. According to the invention, a correct and meaningful examination is made possible by providing a drive apparatus for the fluid and/or the channel walls of the wedge with which the same relative velocity can be established the outer boundary layers of the fluid flow and at the channel walls.
