PURPOSE:To generate a vector signal having unifor line width and to smooth the line intersecting point of the different gradients by overlapping the pattern with set size so that the center can be matched to the respective picture element positions of the straight line signal of one picture element. CONSTITUTION:First, a vector pattern aij of line width =1 is generated. Next, to thicken the line width, the starting point generation circuit 1 samples a pattern of line width =5 from the pattern memory part 2. Next, the indexes i and j are respectively matched with the starting point, the center of the pattern extracted by the picture element data PEA corresponding to the i, j coordinate position is matched and OR is obtained. The data aij obtained by the above is stored in an image memory 4. Next, j=j+1 is set and i is initialized. When the picture element is not present in the X direction, the data is detected to while advancing said data in the X direction until the data is preset. However, when the data is not present in Y line, still the data is advanced to the next Y line. The operation is repeated from the data PEA to PEB, and further, when the next line is repeated from PEB to PEC, the line width =5 pattern for the combined part is preserved in the image memory. |
