Process for preparing wall and floor coverings with relief structure in which the backing strip is embossed and provided with a coating of plastics material, characterized in that in one operation the backing strip is embossed by means of a first embossing roller and a counterpressure roller and provided in parts with a fluid coating of plastics material in a pattern repeat with the embossed configuration, the coating of plastics material being principally formed on the projecting portions of the backing strip by means of a second embossing roller cooperating with the counterpressure roller of the first embossing roller. |
