A temperature limiter for a glass-ceramic cooking apparatus contains a temperature sensor (12) which consists of an outer tube (13) and an inner rod (15) arranged therein. The outer tube (13) is firmly connected to a base (11). The inner rod (14) acts via a lever (23), which is supported on one side, on a switch (35) for interrupting the power supply to the heating of the glass-ceramic cooking unit, while it simultaneously acts directly, without the interposition of a lever, on the operating point (28) of a signalling switch (29) which switches on a warning device if a first temperature is exceeded. A rocker arm (39) which makes it possible to set the response temperature particularly finely and precisely is connected between the lever (23) for operating the power circuit breaker (35) [lacuna]. <IMAGE> |
