PURPOSE:To improve not only mechanical strength but also workability by a method wherein low viscosity liquid containing fibrous material is injected, the inner part of the metallic mold is filled with fibrous material to remove the low viscosity liquid, to impregnate the fibrous material with liquid resin and then to harden the resin. CONSTITUTION:Low viscosity liquid containing fibrous material is supplied by the pump 7 from the cell 6 into the metallic mold 1 through the cock 8, fibrous material only is filtrated by the filter 3, the inner part of the mold is filled with a specified quantity of fibrous material and then the low viscosity liquid is exhausted from the exhaust port 4. Then, exhaust gas is drawn out of the exhaust port 11 to be placed in a decompressed state and, if necessary, the low viscosity liquid is heated by heaters 12, 12', vaporized and removed. When the inner part of the mold reaches the specified decompression state, exhaust gas is drawn out of the exhaust port 11, the fibrous material with which the inner part of the mold is filled is impregnated by the pump 14 with the liquid resin in the liquid resin container 13 through the cock 9 and the filter 3. After the impregnation, the liquid resin with which the fibrous material has been impregnated is heated by the heaters 12, 12' and hardened. |
