摘要

An image scanning read-out apparatus comprises a system for scanning an image original by light, a photoelectric converter for detecting an image carried in the image original and obtaining an analog image signal, and an A/D conversion system for digitally converting the analog image signal. The A/D conversion system is provided with a function of normalizing the analog image signal by use of a standard image signal detected in advance by scanning of a standard original of uniform density and then digitally converting the normalized analog image signal.
