PURPOSE:To reduce a capacity of a protective memory, and to suppress a rise of a cost of a device to the minimum by storing only a floating data in the protective memory of a memory device. CONSTITUTION:Plural POS terminals 1-1-1-n are connected to a terminal control device 2. A memory device 3 has a volatile memory part 4 and a protective memory part 5 in its inside, and these memory parts 4, 5 are subjected to a control of read-out and write by a memory control part 6. Fixed data such as a commodity code, a commodity name, etc. are stored in the volatile memory part 4, and floating data such as sale quantity, a sale account, etc. are stored in the protective memory part 5. Even if a fault, etc. are generated and an electric power source is cut, the storage contents of the protective memory part 5 are protected by a backup power source 7. |
