PURPOSE:To attain picture processing at high speed and with high accuracy by means of a comparatively simple circuit element by adopting a method as the calculation of amount of black ink to obtain a minimum value in other three colors, to obtain the amount of black ink by applying the operation to the minimum value and to limit other ink amounts and using matrix operation for the correction of a reflection characteristic. CONSTITUTION:Three analog data signals subjected to color separation outputted from a picture input device are digitized at an A/D converter, the result is converted into four data signal subjected to color correction by a color correction device, the data are binary-coded by a dot pattern generator and recorded on a picture recorder paper sheet. The color correction device uses minimum value selectors 17, 18 and ROMs 19, 21 so as to obtain the coefficient W1 of the black ink amount, thereby obtaining the coefficients of each color x3, y3, z3 as yellow signal =256x3, magenta signal =256y3, cyan signal =256z3 and black signal =256w1 in the final picture data signal. |
