PURPOSE:To provide a lubricating agent comprising a lubrication oil containing a condensed phosphoric acid (salt), and capable of forming a lubricating film having excellent heat resistance on the surface of a metal in the plastic working of the metal, such as cold working, etc. taking advantage of the heat of deformation or frictional heat generated by the working. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant contains (A) preferably 95-80(wt)% lubricating oil and (B) preferably 5-20% condensed phosphoric acid (salt) (e.g. metaphosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid, pyrophosphoric acid, acidic metaphosphate, acidic polyphosphate, and acidic pyrophosphate). Preferably, the composition is further incorporated with (C) a fatty acid such as straight-chain fatty acid, unsaturated fatty acid, dimer acid, etc. The preferable ratios of the components A, B and C are 97-60%, 2-20% and 1-20%, respectively. |
