摘要 PURPOSE:To collectively compensate a load and altitude for the injection timing with a simplified device, by controlling an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control valve and an injection timing controlling timer by the pressure of fluid via an absolute pressure valve, controlled by the atmospheric pressure, and a pressure regulating valve controlled by an engine load. CONSTITUTION:The opening of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control valve 18, interposed between EGR passages 17, 19, is controlled in accordance with a level of negative pressure given to a diaphragm chamber 26 in a diaphragm device 24. Here an electric control unit 40 regulates said negative pressure by controlling a negative pressure regulating valve 29 so that the opening of said valve 18 is decreased as an engine load increases. While the negative pressure, when a temperature sensing valve 33 is opened with a temperature of cooling water in a predetermined value or more, is regulated by an absolute pressure valve 36 in accordance with the atmospheric pressure. And the negative pressure, regulated in each of the above valves 29, 36, is given through a fluid flow pipe 54 to a diaphragm device 50 in an injection timing controlling automatic timer 45 in a fuel injection pump 9.
