REMOTE CONTROL UNIT WITH TRANSMITTING DEVICE IN STEERING WHEEL

PURPOSE:To control various actuators provided on a car body side from a steering wheel section by using a serial data transmission system for the signal transmission between a steering wheel and the car body side. CONSTITUTION:An operation section 11 generates an operation signal according to an external manual operation and a signal generator section 12 inputs an operation signal output by the operation section 11 and generates a binary parallel coded signal corresponding to it. A serial data sending section 13 converts the binary parallel coded signal to a serial signal and sends it to receiving devices. These transmitting devices are arranged on the steering wheel of a car. A serial data receiving section 21 converts the serial signal to the binary parallel coded signal and a control section 22 decodes the binary parallel coded signal and outputs the corresponding signal to each actuator.
