摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a sealing fitment from degenerating, stabilize the airtight sealing performance of glass tube and prevent the scattering in fusion bonding by a method wherein the fusion bonding between the sealing fitment and jointing glass is performed in two stages or temporary bonding and permanent fusion bonding and the permanent fusion bonding is mainly performed under vacuum. CONSTITUTION:Pipe sleeves 4 are inserted in the pipe sleeve inserting holes 2 and 2 of a sealing fitment 1. Solid, powder or paste-like nickel brazing fillers 6 and 6 are wound around the peripheries of the inserting parts of the pipe sleeves 4 and 4. The vacuum fusion bonding of glass 3 and the vacuum brazing of the pipe sleeves 4 are performed in a vacuum furnace with the degree of vacuum 10<-1>-10<-3>Torr by raising the temperature in the furnace up to the melting point of the nickel brazing filler 6. During said temperature rise, glass 3 is also softened and develops fluidity. The fluidized glass 3 wets metal enough to elevate itself, resulting in proceeding the diffusion reaction between the glass and the metal and consequently firmly fusion-bonding the glass 3 to the sealing fitment 1. The nickel brazing filler 6 also wets the surface of the sealing fitment 1 and spreads the whole joint part by being assisted with capillarity also, resulting in enabling to realize the strong jointing.
