PELLETIZED ETHYLENE-ALPHA-OLEFIN COPOLYMER RUBBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain titled rubber with small surface tackiness by incorporating polyethylene powder of specific size in ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer rubber pellets having specific molecular weight distribution. CONSTITUTION:The objective pelletized rubber can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of pellets of ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer rubber having such a molecular weight distribution as to be 3.5-5.5 in Mw/Mn (ratio: weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight) value (pref. with a Mooney viscosity 25-50 determined by the JIS K-6300 procedure) with (B) 0.3-1.5pts. wt. of polyethylene powder of a size 10-100mu [pref. with a specific gravity 0.920-0.960 and melt index (JIS K6760) 0.1-20g/10min]. The component (A) is made by using pelletizer, its preferable size being such as to be 0.006-0.06g per pellet.
