<p>A dentifrice composition of desirable rheological properties comprises an alpha-alumina trihydrate polishing agent, sodium fluoride, sodium monofluorophosphate, allantoin and pyridyl carbinol in an aqueous gelled humectant base, the gelling agent being a mixture of a cellulosic gelling agent such as sodium carboxymethylcellulose, or xanthan, with iota-carrageenan.</p> |
