PURPOSE:To simplify the introducing and discharging operation of workpieces upon cutting of the outer diameter section of, for example, differential gear casing, by carrying out the returning of a workpiece ejector after a workpiece is removed, in association with the movement of the tailstock spindle. CONSTITUTION:On a table, there is provided a first shaft 18 which is associated with a tail stock spindle, moving in parallel with the tailstock spindle and which has adjusting dogs 19, 20, 21d, and a second shaft 22 is supported slidably to a bracket 24, extending in parallel with the first shaft 18. A work ejector 25 is secured to the spindle side end of the shaft 22. A lever 31 is pivotally provided between the shafts 18, 22, having one end 31a which is opposed to the dog 21 of the shaft 18 so that it may abut against the adjusting dog 21 of the shaft 18, and the other end 31b which is opposed to the end face of the shaft 22 so that it may abut against the end face of the shaft 22. A second lever 35 pivotally attached to a bracket 29 engages with the lever end 31b and as well with a dog 36 so that the engagement of a crank 35a is controlled. Accordingly, the workpiece ejector 25 is pushed back, without the workpiece ejector 25 interfering with the workpiece, by the movement of the tail stock spindle after the ejector pulls out the workpiece. |
